February

10th:  San Mateo, Foster City, Burlingame, Hillsborough Leadership “Annual Sweetheart Auction.”  Benefit Adult and Youth Leadership Programs.

10th:  Hillsborough Schools Foundation, Concours Dinner Dance & Auction, “Bond, James Bond 2007.”  Benefit Hillsborough Public Education Programs.

March

4th:  Burlingame High School Parents’ Group, “A Taste of the Town,” 2nd
year sponsor.  Benefit Critical funding for programs no longer funded by the state.

10th:  St. Charles School, San Carlos  19th Annual Dinner Auction, “Oh What a Night.” Benefit school’s general operating budget and specifically to improve the computer Lab and renovating the playground.

20th & 21st:  Highlands Elementary School PTA’s San Mateo Highlands Eichler Home Tour.  Fundraiser for the Highlands Elementary School PTA Programs.

April

21st:  Vallemar  PTA, Pacifica, Vallemar School Auction Dinner Dance, “Journey into the Jungle.”  Benefit for overall school budget and improvements to launch the new science program.

21st:  Baywood School, San Mateo, Baywood PTA Dinner Dance Auction, “Set
Sail with Baywood,” 2nd year Sponsor.  Benefit overall exceptional educational programs.

21st:  Fox School PTA, Belmont, 8th Annual Fox School PTA Fiesta Benefit.
Benefit for computers & technology equipment, Teacher Aides, Art & Math
Enrichment program, Music for K-3rd grade classes, school assemblies and field trips, and tutoring programs.

26th:  San Mateo County Child Care Coordinating Council, 4C’s Leadership Awards Dinner Auction.  Benefit funds to support non-profit’s child care programs
in San Mateo County.
28th:  The Auxiliary of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Mateo County,
Auction & Dinner Dance, “Top Hat Goes Safari.”  Benefits various programs to aide those in need in SM County.

28th:  Palo Alto University Rotary, Rotary Silent Auction.  Benefit community projects – their motto, “Service before Self.”

30th:  Mills-Peninsula Women’s Health Council & Hospital Foundation 6th Annual
Women’s Luncheon & Lecture.  Benefit to educate both community members & medical professionals on gender-specific medicine & to raise money for a new ultrasound unit for the Women’s Center @ Mills-Peninsula and to underwrite free
mammograms for underserved women.

May

5th:  The Peninsula Auxiliary for Children 42nd Annual Auction. “Cinco de Mayo Fiesta”  3rd year sponsor to benefit philanthropic projects with 100% of proceeds going to outdoor education scholarships for children in financial need, temporary
protective shelter for SM County children ages 7 through high school, and Operation Hug Teddy Bear Program.

5th:  Hold Cross Philoptochos, Belmont, Annual Spring Fashion Show, “La Dolce Vita!”  Benefit Holy Cross Church’s charitable works.

6th:  Hillsborough Schools Foundation, 51st Annual Concours D’Elegance. 
Largest fund raiser for educational programs.

8th:  SF Symphony League, Upper Peninsula Chapter Annual Auction, “Hats Off to the Symphony.  Raise awareness of the orchestra and its programs, to help the symphony broaden its audience base to reflect the diversity in the Bay Area. 

12th:  Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation Annual Auction.  Supports
Education in the Laurel, Encinal, Oak Knoll and Hillview elementary school level.

18th:  Community Service League 27th Annual Kitchen Tour.  Benefit for the Mental Health Association and the YFES Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center, both of SM County.

 

19th:  Las Lomitas Education Foundation Annual Fundraiser, “Gateway to Havana.”  Benefit and maintain the quality, distinguished education in Las Lomitas and La Entrada Grammar Schools in Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside Heights and Ladera.

June

2nd:  Annunciation Cathedral & the Kallas Family Ariana’s Cure Auction Fundraiser and Dinner Dance, “A Night of Miracles.”  First Annual Benefit to support Morquio Disease Research.

7th:  Peninsula Volunteers Fashion Show celebrating 60 Years of Service, “A Day
of Mystique.”  Benefit volunteer programs for Seniors such as Meals on Wheels,
and Rosner House Adult Day Services.

24th:  Fidelity Investments and Various Burlingame & Local Burlingame Business
Sponsors 21 Annual Burlingame Criterium and Ryan’s Memorial Ride.  Raise money for Cancer Research.

July

23rd:  San Mateo County Association of Realtors Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
Benefit HEART of San Mateo County.
